Price on application

The A.corner range connects and directs the A.WORKS system, working alongside the A.base and A.frame to create an infinite range of workspace layouts. From sweeping curved corners with acoustic or glazed panels to tight 90° and 120° post connections, A.corner gives your space intention, direction, and acoustic control without sacrificing flexibility.

Description

The A.corner (AC) range is the connective tissue of the A.WORKS Agile Wall system. Where A.base and A.frame create the working walls, A.corner shapes how those walls move through a space, turning straight runs into defined rooms, collaborative zones, and semi-private work areas. Lightweight, tool-free, and fully compatible with everything else in the system, every component in the A.corner range is designed to be easy to install, reconfigure, or move.

The range includes five components:

Corner Curved Acoustic (AC.103):
A 90° curved corner unit with a 0.5m internal radius, ideal for creating room-like environments within an open plan. The acoustic skin uses two layers of 60% recycled PET, delivering a minimum NRC of 0.7 from either side. It also works as a pinboard, and custom printing or grooving is available on request. Available in six colours: Empire, Flatiron, Murella, Gherkin, Cavalier, and Beehive.

Corner Curved Window (AC.204):
The same generous 90° curve and 0.5m internal radius as the Acoustic, but finished in clear acrylic. Keeps sight lines open and maintains light transmission while still reducing noise and providing physical separation between zones.

Corner Post 90° (AC.301):
A compact post that connects A.base or A.frame walls at 90°, enabling T-shaped or plus-shaped layouts. Well suited to dividing larger open-plan spaces into three or four distinct working areas. Available in matte black or matte white powder coat, and 100% recyclable.

Corner Post Tri 120° (AC.401):
An aluminium post that joins two or three wall runs at 120°, creating angled layouts that offer a degree of privacy without fully enclosing a space. Adds visual texture and a less rigid feel to the overall configuration. Available in matte black.

End Post (AC.501):
A finishing post and foot that can be applied to any A.corner, A.frame, or A.base component. Provides additional floor support at the end of a run and gives a clean, considered finish to exposed wall ends. Made from aluminium for lightweight performance and recyclability. Available in matte black.

Revit families and AR files (viewable at full scale on any Apple device) are available for download to support planning and specification.

Materials Selection

• FSC or PEFC wood products, locally sourced where possible.
• Recycled and local metals where possible.
• Re-surface rather than recycle.
• Specify recycled or readily recyclable plastic throughout our designs.
• Uses materials that are tested and certified low or zero VOC. This includes E0 MDF and Red List Free Certified acoustic panels.
• Powder coating instead of wet spraying for our metals, and high build natural oil for our timber finishes.

Design for durability

• Highly durable materials are used throughout the product range for the longest possible life.
• Longer service life and a higher value at the end of life reduce likelihood of ending up as landfill
• Higher carbon materials such as Steel and Aluminum, may not be the lowest carbon option initially but A.WORKS believe this is offset by longer service life and recyclability. They are locally sourced where possible to reduce the carbon impact of the product.

Design for re-use
A.WORKS was started with a focus on re-usability. They take this approach to every level of their product range; from the re-usable Agile Wall system to their re-usable magnetic post-it notes and re-fillable whiteboard markers.

Design for recyclability
A.WORKS considered what will happen at the end of their products life when they created them. This means minimising the chance they end up in landfills through, re-sale, refurbishment, and partnerships with dedicated recyclers in NZ and Australia (Sims) so that components are sorted and recycled with as little waste as possible.
