The RØDECaster Video S seamlessly blends comprehensive video and audio production into a single, compact device. It supports three HDMI inputs for multi-camera capture, two XLR combo inputs with ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps™, two built-in wireless receivers for RØDE Series IV transmitters, and a configurable USB-C input. Up to nine channels of audio can be mixed simultaneously, each with a full suite of studio-grade APHEX® effects and processors.
Five scene buttons and four dedicated function buttons provide instant access to media playback, graphic overlays, multi-source layouts and automatic chroma keying. Intelligent auto-switching technology detects who is speaking and switches camera angles automatically – ideal for solo operators or hands-free video podcast productions. A high-resolution touchscreen and rotary encoder provide intuitive control, while the RØDECaster App enables complete wireless remote control.
Recording to a connected hard drive or USB storage device is supported, with the option to record each video and audio source independently for flexible post-production. Direct streaming to YouTube, Twitch and other platforms via Wi-Fi or Ethernet is built in, with custom audio routing for separate audience, monitoring and recording mixes. Compatible with the free RØDE Capture app for using an iPhone as a high-quality camera source.
